GET KNOTTED has won this for the past two years and is only 1lb higher than a year ago despite three fine recent runs on the track, the latest when finding a mile just too far, and he easily holds Lualiwa on the first of those runs. Culturati returned after a very long absence to land a Newmarket handicap last June and though not seen subsequently obviously goes well fresh so the lack of a run isn't a concern. Starlight Romance went up 5lb for landing a Class 3 handicap over the track and trip but didn't run so well on a return visit. Arcanada completed an all-weather hat-trick last winter and can race from a 6lb lower mark. A line can be drawn through his run in the Royal Hunt Cup and he's landed a big handicap over a mile on this track so should go well despite a big weight. Ower Flyer went up 6lb for landing a Class 3 handicap at Pontefract and couldn't cope in this grade at Hamilton while Wahash is 0-15 on Turf and Alfred Hutchinson was engaged to run here last night.
