Verdict

Few who saw A SHIN HIKARI (NAP) demolish a high-class field, including My Dream Boat, in the Prix d'Ispahan at Chantilly last month will want to oppose Masanori Sakaguchi's raider here. That victory dispelled any fears over soft ground and the Japanese raider should continue his winning run. The Grey Gatsby goes well fresh so his lack of a recent run is not a concern. He was a very unlucky loser in this last year but could be up against something special this time around. Found beat Golden Horn in the Breeders' Cup Turf last year and is a high-class filly who is sure to run her race again. She was second in the Champion Stakes here in October but has been beaten twice since making a winning reappearance at the Curragh. Western Hymn has become hard to win with and is held by The Grey Gatsby and My Dream Boat on the form book while the ground is likely to be much too soft for Tryster.
