In depth

Verdict

Aaddeey and Quickthorn arrive on the back of impressive wins at Newmarket and Haydock respectively. But both have been raised 13lb while the progressive Zabeel Champion bids for a four-timer having beaten GRAND BAZAAR by less than a length at Newmarket last month. That was the latter’s seasonal debut and with improvement expected, the Gosden charge can reverse running. It was soft ground when Scarlet Dragon won last year’s renewal and stablemates Raymond Tusk and Tritonic are preferred with Ryan Moore on board the latter while Favorite Moon reverts to handicapping having won a Group 3 in Australia back in March. Valyrian Steel has been in good form on the all-weather and Mirann travels over from Ireland with a shout.
