Verdict
Bandari may be the one here against last year's winner High Accolade and Muqbil who disappointed last time. Mark Johnston always enjoys his trips to Ascot and Bandari has as good a chance as any based on his success in the Princess Of Wales Stakes at Newmarket in July. He had High Accolade back in third then and although five-pounds worse off now, will make a bold bid to uphold the form. He produced another sterling effort when third in the September Stakes last time and with or without his earplugs, Mark Johnston's charge is set to go close with conditions in his favour. As mentioned, High Accolade won this last year but has to step up a gear to beat the selection, while Muqbil was well beaten at Goodwood two weeks ago and the trip is a worry as well. Persian Majesty has kept good company but a place is all he can hope for at best, a comment that also applies to Compton Bolter. Bandari has taken on the best, and so will not be phased by today¿s opposition and can gain another Group success.
