Verdict
Albashoosh gets the call here ahead of College Maid, Marshallspark and Tuscan Flyer. The selection ran an excellent race to be fourth in a very competitive Glorious Goodwood sprint last time, a repeat of which quite clearly makes him the one to beat. Overall, his form is pretty solid too so he has to be afforded plenty of respect. Marshallspark wins in his turn and is still arguably well-handicapped if you take 2002 form into account. Tuscan Flyer has won here and was unlucky in running at Carlisle last time out from just a pound-lower mark. He too can go well as can fellow course winner, College Maid, who is now back to a winning mark. Strawberry Blade is also arguably well-weighted and showed a good deal more sparkle than of late when fifth at Newcastle two runs ago. With Seb Sanders booked, he could yet go well but, for us, the vote goes to Albashoosh.
