In depth

Verdict

A small but competitive field goes to post for the finale and most have a chance but the main protagonists look to be Golden Boot, Dune Raider Vicious Prince and Rule For Ever and the vote is given to Golden Boot. The selection has been in good form of late and won well last time out when beating Madiba. Granted he is rising in the weights but he is guaranteed to see out the trip and with the race looking sure to be run to suit he looks the one to be on. Dune Raider rates the main danger on his latest second behind Sporting Gesture. He looks sure to be suited by this longer trip but he keeps rising in the weights without winning and at likely odds he looks worth opposing. Vicious Prince is another that could go well on his latest third behind Circassian but he looks weighed up to his best and is more exposed than some of his rivals. Rule For Ever was a fair second behind Greenwich Meantime last time out and is another with place claims in receipt of her weight allowance but her over all profile leaves her with a little to find. Duroob needs to improve significantly on his latest efforts to trouble the principals and for the winner we return to Golden Boot.
