Verdict
Unbeaten since being switched to hurdles it will be a major surprise if Red Halo does not complete a quick hat-trick of victories in the opener at Bangor. Rated in the 70s on the flat the TEAMtalk selection was an easy winner over course and distance on his hurdling debut before recording a similarly fluent success at Stratford last time. Granted a clear round he should win again. The only battle should be for minor honours, with several likely to be vying for the runner-up berth. Among those worthy of a mention are George Moore's Cheyenne Chief, a fair fifth at Sedgefield last time, Bold Doll, a 60-rated flat horse, and Pat Haslam's Limbo Lad, who only found one too good first time up. The last mentioned is just preferred for the forecast spot.
