In depth

Verdict

Despite his penalties it is difficult to get away from Divet. While the chaser-turned hurdler continues in his current vein of form he is going to be difficult to beat at this level and the gelding gets the TEAMtalk vote. Regency Red was no great shakes on the level and it would be surprising if he was able to take a hand here so a bigger danger to the favourite should be Spree Vision, who's head second to Dispol Foxtrot over course and distance last time reads well. A recent placed effort on the flat suggests he comes here in good heart and Peter Monteith's horse should give the selection most to do. Just Sooty is probably best of the rest.
