In depth

Verdict

Only six and twice a winner over hurdles last autumn, Lock's Corner has a bright future over fences judged on his victory at Southwell. But he’s been raised 10lb for that which means he is giving 9lb to the vastly more-experienced DREAM BOLT, who showed he was no back number when leading until the last at Newton Abbot at the start of the month. Twotwothree is the only course winner in the line-up but hasn’t raced since March. Pogue has an even longer absence to overcome while Cut The Corner is looking a light of former days and Boa Island has much to prove on his reappearance.
