Verdict
The finale looks as difficult as the rest of the card, but Mobo-Baco at least has enough form to make him the selection, with Summer Shades and Thunderclap appearing to hold solid place claims. Mobo-Baco won his first two outings of the season, at Leicester and Pontefract, but has struggled a bit since thanks to the handicapper. It is a measure of how poor this race is that he is still expected to come out on top here. Thunderclap has managed just one win in 17 starts, while Summer Shades nearly prevailed at Catterick last time, and if that was no fluke, can follow Mobo-Baco home.
