Verdict
Another handicap sees Yertle given a leading chance of opening his account for the season, with the likes of Our Monogram, Sashay and Harlestone Bay sure to figure as well. Yertle goes well fresh and indeed went in first time at Nottingham last summer. Having had just four subsequent outings, the six-year-old only reappeared last month when running a sound race on what was his all-weather debut at Lingfield, finishing second to It's Definite. Sure to have come on for the run, now is the time to support James Toller's charge. Our Monogram has already visited the winner's enclosure, at Ripon last week but tends to struggle when raised into the 50's so is passed over. Sashay has been plying his trade on the all-weather, while Mountrath Rock has a 50 day absence to overcome. Harlestone Bay has been disappointing and has been a regular at Nottingham only since last September. Maybe the away day to Bath will revitalise John Dunlop's charge.
