In depth

Verdict

Kalagia attempts a mile for the first time after scoring over 7f at Carlisle but Miss Mumtaz went close over today’s distance at Leicester on her handicap bow. BEDWYYAH won over a mile in novice company at Thirsk last time and it’s Sir Michael Stoute’s filly that makes most appeal in this expected to improve further now handicapping. Nkosikazi is another making her handicap debut having predictably struggled in a Group 1 at Ascot last time while Fashion Theory’s earlier wins in France came over middle-distances.
