Verdict

Fongs Gazelle has shown improved form this season following up his maiden with a decent effort to take a Bath handicap and he gets the vote to follow up off a 5lb higher mark, with the main dangers rated Collette's Choice and Its Moon. The last mentioned showed improved form when stepped up in trip for his reappearance and handicap debut here last month and he has to be respected having been raised just 3lbs since then; however the drop back in distance is not ideal. Top weight Skyelady has gradually been dropping down the handicap but may still need some more help, while Doubly Guest gave little sign for encouragement on his return and is probably best watched. Galingale does not look to be particularly well treated on her debut in this grade and of more interest may be Collette's Choice, who made a decent return when a close fourth in a similar contest to this over course and distance last time. Fongs Gazelle has done nothing wrong this term though and gets the vote to complete a hat trick.
