In depth

Verdict

Duke of Touraine, Azure Mist and Highland Love are the three to look at here, with Highland Love making the most appeal. Duke of Touraine romped home in a handicap here over a two furlong shorter trip, and he ventures into unknown territory here. The ground is likely to be quicker, which may not suit, and he has a six pound penalty to carry so he is passed over. Highland Love made a very encouraging re-appearance, finishing fourth to the well handicapped Jaser and a reproduction of that run would seem to be good enough here. Avure Mist makes her handicap debut here, and although she has shown some promise, notably on her debut, she does not look particularly well treated and is opposed. Highland Love ran well against tough opposition last time and is capable of further improvement.
