Verdict
Fantasy Crusader ran well here over 1m2f last time but may not be so effective back in trip today so preference is for Temper Tantrum, who gets the vote ahead of Archie Wright. The last mentioned hails from the in-form stable of Richard Hannon and has been running into form of late but it is never easy for three-year-olds against their older rivals at this time of year and he may be best watched at present. Golden Spectrum won a seller at Hamilton last time but this is tougher and of more interest may be John Spearing's Doringo, who has run up to his best form in his last two starts. Kalani Star has run well off a similar mark in recent outings and is entitled to be thereabouts once more, while The Job showed improved form at Salisbury last time and is another worthy of a mention. The vote though goes to John Best's Temper Tantrum, who showed improved form when staying on well over course and distance last time and off a 2lb lower mark today he looks worth a bet.
