      Verdict

Feminist has been in good form of late winning her last two starts but both of those have been on the sand and Milton Bradley's filly may not be so effective back on turf so the vote goes to Jasmine Pearl, who gets the vote ahead of Feminist's stablemate Tomthevic. The last mentioned has run well off similar marks recently including when a close third over course and distance last time and has to be respected but the seven-year-old finished adrift of the selection that day and Jasmine Pearl is taken to confirm the form. Taipan Tommy showed improved form over six furlongs here last time but might not have the speed for this trip. Top weight Valiant Romeo won well at Musselburgh two starts ago and was not disgraced when third at Warwick last time so has to be respected. Robin Bastiman's gelding makes more appeal than John Weymes' Danakim, who has struggled back in this grade since his latest success in a banded stakes race. Jasmine Pearl holds solid claims on her recent form though and gets the vote.
