        Verdict

        A moderate contest which is full of largely disappointing types and looks little better than a seller. Hairy Night has had plenty of chances and has been tumbling down the weights of late but acts on the surface and showed that he still retains some ability when a close second off a mark of 63 in a Leicester handicap last month. A tentative TEAMtalk vote goes to Mick Channon's charge in the hope that he can reproduce the form against weak opposition. Court Music landed a claimer over 5f here last week but may struggle to last home over the trip but Basinet has held his form well of late and has place claims along with Indian Gift who hails from a yard that is slowly emerging from the doldrums.
