In depth

Verdict

Lochaber attracted plenty of market support at Thirsk after a pipe-opener at Musselburgh but could only manage fourth and has been gelded since. A drop back to 5f may suit Chumbaa but she’s already had plenty of chances to open her account. Keep Warm is probably improving but ALL IS FAIR will be all the better for his first run at Haydock. His dam has produced winners with her first two foals to race and the Soldier’s Call colt can get off the mark here.
