In depth

Verdict

Second in the Group 3 Sweet Solera as a juvenile, Dandy Alys was making her seasonal reappearance when more than four lengths behind Secret Angel at Epsom. She hails from the yard that won this in 2021 and should get much closer today. Vetiver pulled too hard at Chester after making all at Beverley and still has plenty of scope while Glenlaurel appears to have trained on judged on runs at Chelmsford and York and she could find this trip ideal. The Gosdens don’t run many here but Ceanna steps out of handicap company with something to prove. Gowran maiden winner LADY ONYX (NAP) only weakened close home in this grade at Musselburgh. She’ll know more today and can return to Ireland with the spoils.
