        Verdict

        Turkish Sultan is given a tentative nod over Dulce Sueno and Ponty Carlo. The fact that Turkish Sultan is stepping back to the minimum trip is an obvious worry although Tim Easterby's representative does have a degree of class about him and having merely plugged on over seven furlongs, this is worth a try. Dulce Sueno is beginning to look exposed although his better form has tended to be over five furlongs in the past. A slow starter, he can not afford another here. Ponty Carlo ran well at Ripon on heavy going so it is interesting that connections are sticking in maiden company rather than in handicaps. Knead The Dough will be expected to be in the firing line from an early juncture but has plenty to do on BHB figures. Special Ballot is watched in the market. Turkish Sultan is recommended to minimum stakes.
