Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A poor race with little worthwhile form to go on and a minimum stakes recommendation is offered in favour of Moonlight Fantasy with Peas N Beans and Three Strings cited as the danger. Moonlight Fantasy won a seller earlier in the year and while she is no world beater, her stable are in some assemblance of form and Kim Tinkler appears to get on well with the gelding. Peas N Beans has been supported in the past without too much success. Its a long way to come for a run so the market is watched dutifully. Three Strings is a rare flat runner for Peter Niven. A second to Princess Cocoa at Beverley reads well in the context of this race although he scarcely threatened the winner on the run in. Knight Valiant is open to more improvement than most but needs to reverse form with our selection. Madame Constanze is a rare runner at Catterick for Gaye Kelleway so the market is noted. King's Fable has been disappointing and looks one to avoid. Moonlight Fantasy knows how to win and we chance him in a dire contest.
