Verdict
A moderate maiden to get proceedings underway and connections of Champagne Cracker could be celebrating a victory, with Chase The Rainbow and Party Princess the likely dangers. Linda Perratt has acquired the services of Kieren Fallon for this consistent filly and her recent second up at Ayr behind Ace Club looks as good as any other form on show. Mark Johnston's two-year-olds always have to be feared at Catterick, and although not bred in the purple, Chase the Rainbow will know her job and is worth a look at in the market. Leopard Creek makes a quick return to the track after a promising third behind Foursquare on her debut at Nottingham five days ago, despite running very green, Linda Ramsden's filly should know what¿s required this time and should be in the shake up. Party Princess ran a race full of promise when second behind Celtic Thunder on her debut, but was a real disappointment when tried on the all weather at Southwell, back on the turf we should see a much better performance. But for the selection it has to be Champagen Cracker.
