Verdict
Sigwells Club Boy gets the vote here with the main dangers likely to be Tara's Flame, Donny Bowling, Machrihanish and Chemicalreaction. The selection was disqualified when taking the wrong course at Ludlow last time, but had previously run well when well beaten in a better race than this behind Trouble at Bay at Hereford. With the useful claimer Paddy Brennan in the plate he could be worth chancing at an each-way price. Tara's Flame looks the main danger as this gelding from the Mary Reveley yard showed a good deal of promise on his hurdling debut when seventh behind King Revo at Wetherby. He is sure to have come on for that run and should go very well. Chemicalreaction has also been well beaten by King Revo, on this track, and he is not without claims here but he looks more exposed than Tara's Flame. Of the remainder, Donny Bowling ran well for a long way at Doncaster last time before fading so could be capable of going well, but we are happy to stick with Sigwells Club Boy as our each-way choice, with Tara's Flame the one that will take all the beating.
