Beaten only a neck in the Pertemps Network Final at the festival here in March, TOBEFAIR has won both subsequent starts over course and distance. He’s 5lb higher today but will be sharper for last month’s return and is preferred to The Butcher Said. The latter found only Ramses De Teillee, due to run earlier on the card, too good at last month’s meeting here though this is tougher while Smackwater Jack went very close at Aintree on his reappearance but is also upped in class. Hear No Evil faded in the closing stages at Aintree on his comeback and attempts a longer trip today while Eva's Oskar showed further progress when completing a hat-trick with a victory at Chepstow but has been raised 10lb. Anteros won this in 2016, fell in last year’s renewal and has been winning over fences recently while Eminent Poet will relish the underfoot conditions.
