Verdict

Tom George won this with a point-to-point winner, who went on to prove himself a decent hurdler, last year and FORGOT TO ASK can follow suit. Just caught after making most of the running at Maintown in November, the five-year-old doesn’t look short of pace. Battle Of Ideas stayed on late at Warwick in January and looks a better bet than Daylami Kirk, Jaunty Flyer and Jimmy Bell, who look of similar ability. Roksana is a half-sister to a bumper and hurdles winner but it’s not encouraging that she sports headgear on her debut.
