Verdict

This is a much more interesting heat than the first division. Truckers Lodge is another Tom George inmate with form between the flags. Frankie Rapper ran green when third at Kempton on his debut. With that experience under his belt, Dan Skelton’s charge must go close today, though could be up against an above-average recruit in MONT DES AVALOIRS. The four-year-old is a full brother to the stable’s Grade 2 hurdles and chase winner Le Prezien and will be expected to pay his way. Cloth Cap cost €46,000 as a three-year-old and looks a nice long-term prospect.
