A tight handicap to call here for punters with some closely matched rivals in opposition including Ballyvaddy, Rosairian and Springfield Scally and the tentative vote goes to Ballyvaddy. The gelding from the in form Toby Balding yard has improved with each run and he won with a shade more in hand than the winning margin would suggest last time when defeating Supreme Arrow and although he has risen in the weights he will be hard to beat under conditions that suit. Rosarian rates the main danger he improved throughout last season but he fell in a first time visor on his last run last season and he may just need this after an 205 day absence. Springfield Scally will make a bold bid to make all the running but is better with more cut in the ground so is opposed. Of the remainder Do It On Dani disappointed last time while Armaturk may be having this sharpner over hurdles before returning to fences so we are happy to side withBallyvaddy.
