    Verdict

Silver Guest is selected here ahead of Brassini and Little Big Boy. Silver Guest is unlucky still to be a maiden, having rattled the crossbar on a few occasions already. Given the handy weight concession he gets from what appear to be his main rivals, he looks set to run a big race today. Let's face it, that Coventry Stakes fourth last time is excellent form. Given that Barraland was beaten off a mark of 79 in a handicap last time, he will be doing well to give the selection weight and a beating, so Chester winner Brassini and Haydock winner Little Big Boy can give the Silver Guest most to do. Silver Guest is the selection.
