Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Mallusk has fallen to a decent mark but he's been a little disappointing this season and has never raced on ground this quick. He also has a bit to find to overturn last year's Newbury running with Cottage Acre, who showed a bit more at Sedgefield last time. Mon Chevalier's Stratford conqueror, Take Of Shoc'S, has won again since and he makes more appeal than Round The Horn and Rory Boy but may be too close in the weights to UPTHEMSTEPS. A visor is fitted on Ian Williams' gelding for the first time and could have the desired effect as this looks a little easier than recent races.
