Verdict
In a weak race, we will opt for Regal Performer ahead of Buchanan Street and maybe Trysting Grove. Regal Performer has form enough to be competitive in this company and, if blinkers bring about that crucial fraction of improvement, he looks the one to be on. Zuleta's and Keltic Rainbow's best form so far has come on the all-weather, while Buchanan Street will probably appreciate today's 12 furlongs rather than the two miles he encountered last time and has claims. Trysting Grove could also be interesting stepped up to this trip and dropped to this grade for the first time, while Frambo's third to very easy winner Strangely Brown at Nottingham from a four-pound higher mark has since been franked but Introduction has a bit to prove. Overall, this is not a very strong race and maybe Regal Performer is the one to be on.
