Verdict
This is very modest fayre indeed with Instinct given a tentative ahead of the likes of Nikiforos, Sabrina Brown, Indian Edge, Danish Monarch and Cellino. The selection comes into the reckoning by virtue of the fact that he has shown the odd bit of form and proven that he acts on good to soft. He also hails from a stable that has to be afforded all due respect in this type of contest and, having not fared too badly with the draw, ought to run well. With Indiana Blues possibly better over further and having no form on the prevailing underfoot conditions, the likes of Nikiforos, who is lightly raced and should be improving, Sabrina Brown, who was placed here over a mile in July and has to be competitive from her current mark, Pure Imagination and Indian Edge, who both act on the going, and Danish Monarch, who has chances on his juvenile form, have to be considered, as does Cellino, who was staying on over six furlongs last time on only her second try at today's trip. A market move for her would be interesting but, at this point, we just side with Instinct.
