Verdict
This looks like quite an open race but Benbaun can follow-up his easy win at Redcar last week despite a penalty, while the others worthy of consideration include Kuringai, Danifah and Lady Killer. The selection hacked up last time at Redcar over a trip that clearly suits, and despite the hike in the weights, is sure to go close again. Kuringai could give the selection most to do, although there is a suspicion that he is still a little high in the weights. But he is tough and consistent and has been racing in good company lately, so could find this easier. Lady Killer is nothing special but could be good enough to take a place, although the ground could be against her here and any further rain would not help. Danifah is a course and distance winner and merits respect, while Only if I Laugh is worthy of consideration but could be better over five furlongs. This is certainly not an easy race to predict, but Benbaun is in great heart and is our choice to record another success.
