Verdict
Pedrillo looks the one to beat here with Averline, Leaping Brave and Burlington Place the others worthy of consideration. Pedrillo performed with real promise, despite running green on his debut at Haydock and looks to have bags of scope. He looks more of a three-year-old prospect, but he could do some winning this term and is a confident selection. Averline stayed on one-paced behind Compton's Eleven at Goodwood and could be good enough to take a place here, while Leaping Brave should be suited by the extra furlong and ran his best race so far on this track last month. But he then ran a stinker at Doncaster and that run will have to be forgiven for any supporters of Leaping Brave. Burlington Place is from a shrewd yard but showed very little on his racecourse debut so will have to improve to take a hand in the finish here. But Pedrillo should come on for his debut at Haydock and is a strong fancy to take this with Averline and Leaping Brave capable of getting amongst the places.
