      Verdict

      Cold Stare put an uncharacteristically bad run at Ascot behind him at Haydock last time and is well respected despite his welter burden. He has shown most of his best form on ground with cut and will benefit from any further Welsh rain that falls. Miquelon has yet to score but has been knocking on the door over this trip and will be hard to keep out of the frame off a 1lb lower mark, but BOLLY BULLET could be the one here as he'll be suited by conditions if the ground stays good to soft and has already scored under his promising apprentice who claims a valuable 7lb. Course and distance winners Sir Plato and Fieldsman win in their turn and are respected too.
