Verdict
Some potential smart performers on view and this should provide further clues for the Triumph in March. There is nothing to seperate Lilium De Cotte and Nas Na Riogh as the pair deadheated (identical terms here) for second place behind a useful sort at Cheltenham earlier in the month. Both are sure to win their share of races but Lilium De Cotte, who has winning form on heavy ground, just gets the verdict on this occasion. Fast Mix made a winning debut in good style at Newbury last month but didn't look a straight forward ride as he veered to the left throughout and was novicey at the obstacles so may be worth opposing in this much tougher contest. Lewis Island will relish the ground but needs to step up on his Leicester win to trouble the principals.
