        Verdict

        Trouble Mountain was so impressive last time it is hard to go against him and he is taken to beat Kylkenny and Scottish River. Mick Easterby's nine-year-old had been showing signs of a form revival before easily beating a group of experienced handicappers. This is a stronger contest but if the same mood today he will be hard to beat. Kylkenny is at the veteran stage but proved he still has plenty of ability when winning two races at Southwell during the winter. He does have to shoulder top-weight but could still be capable of taking a hand in the finish. In a pretty weak affair Scottish River, another all-weather winner, can also be expected to make his mark. However Trouble Mountain is at the top of his game and can make it back to back victories.
