Verdict

Although she is yet to race at a mile and half, Weqaar has shaped as if it should not be a problem and this half-sister to Sakhee is taken to go one better than her close up second in a classified stakes here at the start of June. Sovereign Dreamer and Crathorne could give her the most to do, whereas an each way move for Edmo Yewkay would also be interesting. Wequaar is unlikely to be persevered with beyond this season and has already enhanced her paddocks value with a hard fought maiden win at Bath in April. She is only small but still has enough scope to master this caliber of opposition if she copes with the step up in trip. Crathorne ran a cracker over course and distance earlier in the season and is probably the safest option against the selection. The return to this course will see him in a better light after he failed to handle the course at Epsom last time.
