Verdict
Red Romeo is in great form and is difficult to oppose but we will do so with Commando Scott who is given the vote. The selection is improving all the time and he won decisively when beating Rising Shadow at Haydock last time. He has a penalty for that win but that is unlikely to stop him and we make him the confident choice. Red Romeo is bidding for a four-timer here and he is in great heart at present. But he has a penalty for his most recent success over Instant Recall at Kempton and he may just find himself vulnerable to an improver such as our selection. He remains a leading player here but he may have to play second fiddle today. Instant Recall was decisively beaten in that Kempton race and although he may get closer to Red Romeo on this occasion, he still has it all to do to reverse the placings. Of the remainder, Cherokee Nation has been in fair form of late and looks to have decent each-way claims, but Commando Scott is improving all the time and should take all the beating.
