Verdict
A race in which many pointers may be gleaned for the Lincoln Handicap and we will take Arry Dash to land it with Dunaskin, Swift Tango and African Sahara likely to run well. Arry Dash represents the Mick Channon yard and the team have already hit the spot on the first day of the meeting. He made an eye-catching reappearance at Lingfield in February and while a number stepped in to take fancy prizes about him in the Lincoln, he stands a much more realistic chance in this grade. Swift Tango should not want for fitness following a spell in Dubai. His second to Adeimus at Nad Al Sheba should have put him spot on for this race. African Sahara is nothing but game and would be a popular winner for fledgling trainer, Debbie Mountain. He certainly does not want for effort in his races and this tough sort will still be sticking on when others have cried enough. Dunaskin could be a lively danger at bigger odds. He was extensively campaigned over further than a mile but he was given a highly positive ride by Kevin Darley at Ripon and managed to make all over the trip last May. It is perhaps a little worrying for his supporters that Darley has elected to ride Internationalguest. He is perhaps better with some cut in the ground but has always been held in high regard by the trainer. He looks ideal to lead up from those of the lower numbers. A tough race with many possibles and we will stick with Arry Dash for the win prize money.
