Dizzy G won three times last year on good to firm and will strip fitter for a run at Ripon. Consequences is another who will have benefited from a comeback run and Daffy Jane could also figure having found 7f too far last time when also slowly away. Choosey isn’t without a chance if fully wound-up while Naadirr and Buccaneers Vault are previous course and distance winners. BRIAN THE SNAIL was 9lb higher when scoring here just under a year ago and hinted at a revival back over 6f at Thirsk. Paul Hanagan is back in the saddle today and the Fahey gelding can take advantage of the handicapper’s generosity.
