In depth

Verdict

Most can be afforded claims but trip and track seemed to suit BROROCCO ideally when he launched a withering late challenge under Jimmy Quinn to land the City and Suburban. He should be able to handle a 5lb higher mark and ran perfectly well when runner-up at Chester latest. He is a hold-up merchant and Oisin Murphy will require the right gaps to appear at the right time. The expertise of Sir Michael Stoute with older horses is legendary and it will be no surprise to see Fidaawy build on his Doncaster success and prove highly competitive. There must be more to come from the son of New Approach after just eight career starts. Course and distance winner What About Carlo has to be respected with his yard firing in the winners at present and the likes of Innocent Touch and course and distance winner Grapevine are others to consider.
