Verdict
Richard Johnson can land another win on the day here with Forever Dream, with his main dangers suggested as Greensmith Lane and Dear Sir. Having won from a mark of 109 in March, the selection has finished runner-up in each of his last three outings, proving that he can compete from today's higher mark. He should be competitive again. However, you can give Greensmith Lane a chance as he has only two lengths to find on the selection based on Plumpton form of September and, again using literal form, Dear Sir has to hold solid claims too as he is three pounds better off for the three-parts-of-a-length that Greensmith Lane finished ahead of him at Newton Abbot in August. Of the others, Castle River has been beaten from revised marks since winning, Cobbet's best recent form has come over fences, Made In France won well on his British debut but the form has been let down since, and Top Trees, despite winning on the Flat in July, has something to prove overall over hurdles. For us the wheel then returns to the selection, which is Forever Dream.
