In depth

Verdict

Ballytober certainly boasts the best form in the book despite a Newbury fall last time and may well get back to winning ways in this easier grade. He has stamina in abundance but it might be worth rowing in with SEEBRIGHT as a strong alternative at the likely prices. The Dartnall charge also came to grief last time but had created a really good impression when landing two previous successes. He also looks to have considerable scope for further improvement. Bob Ford finished behind the selection when the pair met at Chepstow in January over 2m1f and should get closer this time over the longer trip despite being worse off at the weights.
