Verdict
Walcot Lad, Quiet Millfit and Three Days Reign are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the tentative vote goes to the last named. The selection has been in good form of late and was a good second off this mark behind Wemyss Quest last time out.The drop in trip is sure to suit and under his optimum conditions he will be hard to beat. Walcot Lad rates the main danger he was a good winner last time out when beating BallaD'Aire and he is sure to go close but his penalty may just catch him out and for that reason she is opposed. Quiet Millfit is another that is worthy of respect on his latest second behind Palouse but this longer trip is not sure to suit and for that reason he is opposed. Parish Oak would be a danger to all on his best form but he will do well to win this after a 556 day absence. Of the remainder Father Abraham is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Three Days Reign.
