Verdict
A wide open handicap chase here and many would have chances on their best form but the principals look to be Tudor King, Alfred The Grey and Julies Boy and the tentative vote goes to Alfred The Grey. The selection was a fair third behind Felix Darby Fontwell last time out. He runs off the same mark here and in an open affair he looks the value bet.Tudor King rates the main danger he has been in good form of late and was a fair third behind Totheroadyouvgone last time. However he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him there and for that reason he is opposed. Julies Boy has chances on his best form but he has failed to complete the course on his last two runs so can not be backed with any confidence. Pangeran was a fair third behind Walcot Lad last time and is another with place claims but his best form is over a shorter trip and for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder Little Herman is on an attractive mark and is from a shrewd yard so is worth noting in the market but he was very disappointing last time and for the winner we return to Alfred The Grey.
