Verdict
A bumper rounds off the card and as usual the market in these types of events is all important but the principals look to be Jackie Boy, Best Actor, and Bel Ombre and the confident vote goes to Jackie Boy. The selection won in good style on his debut despite running very green when defeating Miller's Monarch. He is sure to have learnt from the experience and although he has a penalty for that win his useful conditional takes off a handy three pounds and under similar conditions he will be hard to beat. Best Actor rates the main danger he is a well bred gelding by Oscar from a yard that does well in these types of events so he is worth noting in the market. Bel Ombre was well fancied on his debut but was pulled up. He is obviously thought capable of better but he can not be backed with any confidence until we know all is well. Our Samson is a Old Vic gelding out of Strong Gale Pigeon and is from a yard that can ready a newcomer so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Jackie Boy.
