Verdict
Brandywine Bay is the pick over Cut Ridge, with My Girl Pearl and Pretty Kool others in with a chance. On recent form, Brandywine Bay looks the pick as she bounced back from a three-month break to land what was on paper a moderate affair at Brighton ten days ago. Connections thought that the ground might be too fast on that occasion but will have no worries here and she remains on a fair mark. With Hayley Turner claiming a handy five pounds, she can prevail over Cut Ridge who has topweight and a six-pound penalty for her recent victory at Lingfield where she was given a good ride by Darryll Holland. Pretty Kool is running into form as are the stable, while My Girl Pearl has already visited the winner's enclosure this term. In what is not a great contest even by Folkestone standards, Brandywine Bay should go close.
