Sunset Mirage can beat Keepers Knight, while Turtle Patriarch who should like the ground, can prove troublesome at decent odds. With Ed Dunlop having a winner or two lately, Sunset Mirage may improve enough to go one better than second at Brighton last week. He was covered up until as late as possible that day and the tactic nearly paid off so it could be a case of the same again here by Liam Treadwell. The negative is that he will find it hard to tuck in with only four opponents, but his form is as good as any of the others and he can still be the one to beat. Keepers Knight gained his sole success on the all-weather and was noted staying on here on his last outing. He might not have the same turn of foot as the selection though and is worth taking on. Turtle Patriarch has not yet delivered the goods but is lightly raced, bred to go on softer ground, and hails from a stable that is enjoying a better second half of the season than it endured in the spring. He could spring a surprise in a race of this nature, but Sunset Mirage should take the beating.
