        Verdict

        I'm For Waiting could take this competitive handicap ahead of Almanoso and Harry Collins. John Allen's gelding deserves to win a race of this nature and came very close last time when runner up to today's rival Lucky Pete over course and distance, he's four pounds better off with that rival today so should easily reverse the form. Almanoso was no match for Galaxy Sam at Fontwell last month but that was an improved performance and she should be in the firing line again. Harry Collins is steadily improving and wasn't disgraced behind Galwaybay Stan over a slightly longer trip last time. Mandingo Chief has shown signs of ability and is lightly raced so has more scope than most of these, however I'm For Waiting has the best overall form and is taken to land the spoils.
