Verdict
Gus Des Bois, Gemi Bed and Walcot Lad look the three to concentrate on here, and we will side with the last named. This eight-year-old was most impressive when landing a Fakenham last month and wasn't disgraced next time when second behind a potentially decent type in Three Days Reign. He still appears well treated and looks the one to beat. Gemi Bed hails from a top yard and although disappointing recently, must have claims on the best of last season's form. Gus Des Bois though could be more of a threat to the selection having put in some good efforts this season including a six length second behind Imaginaire at Newbury last time. It is quite a tricky finale but off this mark Walcot Lad looks the one to be on.
